Meet MAVERICK, a 3-month-old brown tabby boy who is just the cutest. He is a teeny bit on the shy side at first but very friendly and loving. He will fall asleep for a nap if you place him in your lap and pet him. Meet RICKY, a 10 month old gray MARBLE TABBY boy who is so SPECIAL. Ricky loves, loves, LOVES to PLAY all the time! He is VERY ENTERTAINING and FUN and a LIVELY GUY! When Ricky is done playing, he will CUDDLE right in your LAP and PURR away. Ricky does like to be with his people and can be quite VOCAL when left alone. He is currently in foster with a small dog who he gets along with but due to his very playful nature he can be a bit overwhelming for some other cats especially smaller or more timid cats. Perhaps a home with lots of toys and people who are home a lot (and maybe a dog) would be best. Ricky was born with very mild CH or cerebellar hypoplasia, which is a non-progressive neurological condition where he has slightly wobbly head and body movements. CH doesn’t slow him down at all and Ricky does everything any cat can do (he does sometimes need some patience / directing to wet food and can be a little messy when eating). If you have experience with CH cats or are willing to research and learn, you know CH cats are determined little souls that will touch your heart in a way you never felt before. Ricky does also have a little scarring in his left eye from an eye infection when he was younger. Meet MICHAEL, a 7 year old orange tabby boy with a GORGEOUS MARBLE COAT. Can you believe this HANDSOME guy was living outside scrounging for food for quite some time! Michael can be a VERY AFFECTIONATE, LOVING guy who loves, loves, loves to rub himself against your leg and seek ATTENTION. He is a great conversationalist (and, our opinion is, he gives great advice, just saying lol). Like many cats, when Michael has had enough, he will let you know. Meet CHER, an 8 month old TORBIE gal whose foster family says amazing things about her. They say, “Cher is maybe the sweetest foster we've ever had. She FOLLOWS US around like a little shadow, plops down next to us on the couch for a snuggle with the BIGGEST purrs, and actually gets along with our sassy girl cats. She definitely needs another cat to hang out with. While she likes to hang out around us all the time, she's actually not a super big snuggler - she loves being picked up and getting pet for about 2 minutes before she MUST go check out some sound / smell in the other room. She's SUPER CURIOUS about everything - she's got big investigator energy, and her tail does a big swish back and forth when she's searching / sniffing / being a tiny cat detective. She LOVES to play - she's always carrying around a toy, climbing up on furniture, or bird watching out the window. Meet GREYHOUND, a 10-month-old tabby gal who is ready for her forever home. Greyhound came to us without a lot of human interaction for the first few months of her life. Her dedicated foster mom helped her learn what it’s like to live in a home, be loved by people, and play like a cat. Greyhound still needs people to actively seek her out to interact and she can be quite mysterious in her many hiding spots during the day. But once she settles in, she is the sweetest girl who enjoys laying with you and being pet. Greyhound’s foster mom says she is an absolute angel about getting her nails trimmed and one of her favorite things is belly rubs! Meet DIAMOND, a VERY SWEET, AFFECTIONATE and GENTLE 13-year-old gal. Diamond is a LAP cat and just adores being with her person, getting pet and being brushed. Diamond reaches up to you for attention and when she wants you to pick her up. She loves yummy meals and treats and enjoys playing with balls and catnip. We saved Diamond from the city shelter, where she wound up after her owner passed away. Diamond was brought in with a leg injury which has since healed while she has been in a foster home (and she even had a dental cleaning too). Diamond also recently had ear surgery which she also has healed from (her ear is now a little floppy but we think it gives her character). Meet Kit, a 5-year-old all gray gal (possibly a RUSSIAN BLUE mix) that is on the big boned side lol (ok maybe a little more than big boned, some exercise and a diet should be in her future). Kit has a cute haircut and is ready for the warmer weather. Kit came to us after her owner was evicted and left her behind. Kit has come a long way since she has been at our shelter and her personality is blossoming even more now that she is in a foster home. Meet STARLING, a 3-year-old brown tabby boy looking for a kind, patient owner. Starling came to us with his siblings (all adopted by now) after their owner was evicted and they had no place to go. Meet DONIMO, a shy unassuming gal that came to us after being abandoned in a house. The new owner fed her and was able to get her in a crate and bring Domino to us. What we know is that Domino is a senior girl, around 12, is a little wary of strangers in the beginning, but with patience (and lots of churro) she will come around in time. Meet MIRAGE. She is a PRETTY 11-year-old GRAY & WHITE TUXEDO kitty with bright yellowish eyes and four white paws. Mirage came to us when her owner passed away and family members were unable to care for her. Mirage went to a temporary foster home for a bit where she got to have her own room to hang out in. During that time, she would sit on the couch next to you and rub against your legs when you stand up. She enjoyed the occasional catnip toy and burrowing under the blankets. After a stay back at our shelter, Mirage got the chance to go to a foster home again. This time she is living with other kitties who she peacefully coexists with. Mirage likes to lay on a cat bed under the skylight or wherever there is a ray of sun. She is fairly independent but a good girl overall who is quiet and well behaved.
