This school is horrible I honestly wish I never came here . Some of the teachers are very rude and dramatic . The new policies Administrations have added with our phones are not even necessary it’s the end of the year at this point it doesn’t even matter. I honestly would like to know what this policy is doing for them . Now I’m not going to lie they do give us a little le-way with the dress code but we are in high school now the dressed code doesn’t matter because once we get to college we’ll have free dress too. It’s not like the clothes are physical bothering you . They shouldn’t be focused on our clothes and our phones , they should be more focused on improving their academics and helping us get to college . It’s a college prep school , we should’ve be groomed to be ready for college not care about how we dress everyday or worry about our phones .

In total, this is a very good school for this area of Houston Texas. I have been here my whole high school experience. My school has many activities for the students, sports, after school stuff, helping around the school, student council.

My freshman year was in 2020, which was also it's founding year. I gave KEEHS the benefit of the doubt because it got off to a rocky start, being a new school in the middle of COVID. However years later, the quality of the school has not changed. Complaints go in the administrations ears and out the other, followed by an eye roll as they "add it to the list of things to do." We have not had a teacher stay for more than, at most, three years, and the teachers that have stayed all four years- the founders- are now apart of administration and rarely seen. Our teachers have been rude, inexperienced, unorganized, and untrained- many of them teaching subjects they did not specialized in, and are "learning with us." We meet with clubs once a month if we're lucky. There is no room for anything creative at East End, and you will not be taken seriously if you are not a "top performing student." Favoritism is one of the worst issues here. Admin is condescending. Students are unmotivated.
