Medieval Dynasty: Complete Guide To Uniegost Questline (2024)

As you go about your daily life in Medieval Dynasty, you will come across several NPCs with story questlines. These story quests typically involve several steps, such as traveling to new towns and delivering items. One of these NPCs who has their own story quest is Uniegost, located in Gostovia. This unique questline revolves around the death of your Uncle Iordan.

At the start of the game, Uniegost serves as the Castellan, to whom you pay your taxes. In addition to collecting taxes, you can embark on an optional journey to complete his questline. In this guide, we are going to go over all seven steps of Uniegost's questline. This guide will only have minimal spoilers and will not focus on the dialogue options for each quest.

First, let's take a look at how to begin.

Uniegost's Story I

Uniegost is one of the very first NPCs that you will speak to. After he gives you permission to build, you will automatically receive this quest.

The first chapter consists of the following tasks.

1. Talk to Dobroniega
2. Deliver 2 Oat Ale to Uniegost
3. Wait for the next day
4. Talk to Uniegost
5. Talk to Sambor
6. Dig up 2 Clay Deposits
7. Gather at least 5 Clay
8. Deliver Clay to Sambor
9. Deliver the "Knuckle Sandwich" to Uniegost

As you can see, this is a lot of steps. Fortunately, the three NPCs that you will need to travel to are all close. In the image above, you can see the marked locations of Dobroniega, Uniegost, and Sambor. Both Dobroniega and Uniegost reside in Gostovia, while Sambor resides in a small cabin to the north.

Uniegost's Story II

For this quest, you will need to do the following tasks.

1. Retrieve Uniegost's Scythe from Ida
2. Win Ida's Game of Riddles
3. Deliver the Scythe to Uniegost

This is a simple quest that requires you to go to the town across the river from Gostovia. From Gostovia, just head across the river until you arrive in Borowo.

Before heading back to Uniegost, you will need to answer three riddles. Below, you can find the answers to Ida's Game of Riddles.

• Silence
• Fire
• A Cloud

Uniegost's Story III

After returning the scythe to Uniegost, Sambor will ask you to visit him. Make your way back to Sambor's cabin, where he will explain that an owl has been hooting nearby. You will need to find the owl and then return back to Sambor.

This owl is not actually an owl; instead, it's a young man who is positioned just behind Sambor's house. Speak with this man and then return to Sambor. After going through his dialogue, you will need to wait until the next day to complete the fourth part of Uniegost's story.

Uniegost's Story IV

After waiting a day, return back to Sambor. This will trigger the fourth chapter to start, where you will need to do the following tasks.

1. Deliver the Mysterious Parcel to Wolrad
2. Talk to Amanda
   • Deliver 30 Meat to Amanda
3. Talk to Wolrad
4. Talk to Uniegost

Wolrad can be found in Tutki, which is in the northwest section of the valley, along a small river. To get here, you can pass through both Baranica and Branica.

Once here, Wolrad will task you with finding 1,000 logs. This is obviously impractical, so just speak to Wolrad again and the quest objective will change so you don't have to gather that many logs.

Amanda can also be found in Tutki working as the stable keep. After you have talked to both Amanda and Tutki, return to Gostovia and speak with Uniegost.

Uniegost's Story V

For this next quest, you basically need to go grocery shopping for Sambor. Below, you can find the steps required for this quest.

1. Talk To Sambor
2. Collect the following:
   • Beetroot
   • Onion
   • Cabbage
   • Carrot
3. Deliver these items to Sambor
4. Go to Hornica and find Kestrel
5. Deliver a Potion of Sobriety to Kestrel

These vegetables can be grown on your farm, or purchased from any farmer vendor within town. After bringing these items to Sambor, you will need to head all the way to Hornica. Kestrel will be inside of a small house, laying on the ground.

This is a long journey, so we recommend returning back to your own village to prepare. If your villagers do not produce basic necessities on their own (food, firewood, water), then you should make sure that they have enough while you are gone.

Additionally, try to plan your trip to Hornica so that you will leave in the morning. The path to Horica has several dangerous animals, including bears and wolves.

Uniegost's Story VI

Once you arrive in Hornica and talk with Kestrel, you will need to do the following tasks.

1. Talk to the following NPCs (in this order):
   • Dyter
   • Kestrel
   • Domagoj
2. Deliver the following to Kestrel:
   • 500 Coin
   • 20 Dried Meat
   • 1 Waterskin with Water

Dyter can be found to the west of town. On your map, this area will be highlighted with a yellow circle; Dyter will be in the northwest area of this circle.

After speaking with Dyter, you will need to speak with Domagoj, who can be found in Jezerica. This NPC will request that you bring him a crossbow. There are two options for this sidequest, which can be found below.

1. Buy a new crossbow. This is quick, but overall, you will lose some Dynasty Reputation and technically 'fail' this side quest.
2. Head back to Borowo and retrieve Domagoj's crossbow from Ada. This is the longer option, but you will not lose any additional gold or reputation. Instead, Ada will ask for 20 fish meat in return for the crossbow.

Uniegost's Story VII

This is the last part of Uniegost's questline. For this task, you will need to speak with Dyter one last time and then return to Gosotiva to speak with Uniegost.

You will be presented with four options to choose from while speaking to Uniegost. Depending on the option you choose, a different cutscene will trigger. Ultimately, Uniegost will no longer be in the valley. Waldebert will take over as the Castellan, and Skarbimira will take Dobroniega's job as the tavernkeep.

That's all there is to know about Uniegost's story. Although this is a long questline, you will learn valuable information about what really happened to your uncle.
