“Daddy?” Loona called. “Dada.”

Blitz flinched, trying around to face his daughter, “Honey, I’m almost done, alright? I just have to finish this guacamole for Mox.”

Loona huffed, continuing to color in the pictures Blitz had left her - snarling. She gripped the crayons tightly as fought off a whine. She wanted Blitz now! But a knot formed in her gut when she thought about calling for him again - she didn’t wanna think about her dad’s reaction.

He would hate her, wouldn’t she?

Wait… why was Daddy busy again?

Whatever, not like it mattered.

Blitz hummed to himself, squashing the avocado and mixing in the other ingredients, cheap like juice, cilantro, and a pound of salt.

That was how he liked it, anyway.

Moxxie and Millie were hoping to come over later, hoping to eat and play with a little Loona - and help out Blitz. Sure, the father was her main caregiver, but Moxxie and Millie had known her regressed self longer. (Blitz promised he wouldn’t be jealous about that.)

“Daddy?” Loona squeaked, putting down her crayon.

“Yes, baby?” Blitz called, shoving the tupperware in the fridge. His eyes darting to the living room - watching carefully as his daughter chewed on her nails - where did her pacifier go? He quickly made his way over to Loona and sighed, “Yeah, Loonie?”

Loona’s shoulders stiffened, her breath hitched.

Mad.

Daddy’s mad.

Madmadmadmadmadmad—

“Loona, sweet girl?”

Loona made quick work of wiping away any excess tears, trying to frantically calm herself down, nononono—

“Sorry…” Loona whimpered, cowering below Blitz’s form. The imp’s hands shook, unsure of his next move. He was sure she was okay just a few minutes ago how—

The wolf sobbed, her tears staining the carpet like she used to - like she used to alone in her room - Blitz hated it. He gently placed a hand on her head, the same hands he’d killed so many with he was petting her with. Loona couldn’t fathom what she did to deserve that.

Loona reached a hand out and clutched Blitz’s boxers, tugging on the loose fabric. The man immediately pulled the younger woman in for a hug, holding her like he would a baby.

Sometimes he wished he could invent something, like he was good at spells, so he could wish some sort of eternal happiness for his daughter, or some sort of babyhood for her. Just for a little while, at least, Satan knows she deserves it.

Loona cried like a puppy, trembling in Blitz’s arms, all while holding her and stroking her hair. She’s never felt this small.

“Loonie, can you talk?”

The regressor shakes her head.

“Can you write?”

Another head shake.

“That’s okay, baby girl. You’re very small, aren’t you?”

Loona nods, finally.

“Alright, under one?”

Loona pulls away, smiling just a bit, and nods.

Blitz smirked, porous of his accomplishment, “Aw… you’re just my little baby huh?” The imp cooed, tickling the hellhound in his arms. Loona laughed, her tail wagging. Blitz then went from tickling to rocking her, stroking her back as she chewed a bit on his t-shirt - a bit of drool staining his chest - but he didn’t mind. Better than her biting through it anyway.

Blitz then had another idea, picking up the regressed girl and carrying her to her room, shuffling through the items on her bed - eventually finding it.

“Ra’le!”

Blitz relaxed once Loona finally spoke again, wrapping one arm around her waist and using another to shake the rattle. Noises of pure bliss and excitement emitted from the baby. Blitz beamed, he wanted to cry, he wanted to laugh, to finally call his—

“She would’ve loved you, baby,” Blitz smiled warmly, petting Loona’s fur. Loona hummed, almost purring, she wanted to nod - almost forgetting who he was referring to.

“Fizz would love you too, you haven’t meant him yet, huh?”

Loona chewed on the rattle, grabbing at Blitz’s hands as he rambled, “Aw… he loves kids, he would love you… I should bring him around… oh—wait, baby,” Blitz paused. “Are you still okay with Mox and Mills comin’ over?”

Loona laughed, clapping, “Uncy Mox! ‘N… ‘n Ti-Ti!”

“Yeah, I know, Uncle Moxxie and Auntie Millie, hm? Are you excited?”

Loona squealed, not noticing when Blitz pulled out his phone, swiftly texting his work group chat.

WWLBWSLH (Work Without Loona But We Still Love Her)

Blitz: loonie little

Moxxie: Yay, finally, I was missing my sweet niece.

Blitz: Really?

Moxxie: Only tim she’s nice to me.

Millie: How little?

Blitz: lek undr one

Blitz: little baby

Millie: SHSHHDGGEIKWAKD

Millie: ALSKJSJD

Millie: BLOTZ

Millie: BLITZ.

Blitz should’ve expected that. Millie loved babies, especially a Loonie-baby.

Blitz continued playing with his daughter, blowing raspberries on her stomach, bouncing her, anything he could do to make her happy… he did.

Eventually, Blitz’s phone lit up again.

Moxxie: We will be over sooner than expected.
